About the role

As the Team Leader - Sales Operations, you will be responsible for managing the Sales Support function within the Nationally dispersed Commercial & Industrial team at Alinta Energy. This pivotal role will report into the Head of Operations and oversee a team of Sales Support Officers ensuring efficient and accurate contracting, billing, and customer service delivery. Your leadership will foster a cohesive and engaged team, driving process improvements, embedding change as we uplift our systems and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.

What you’ll do

  • Lead and mentor the Sales Support team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Oversee the accurate contracting and billing processes, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Implement process improvements and initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and regulatory compliance.
  • Liaise with the Head of Operations to align team goals and priorities with business objectives.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and escalations, ensuring timely and effective resolution.

Your experience

  • Experience in sales operations within the energy industry
  • Proven experience in a leadership role, managing teams in a fast-paced and customer-focused environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and implement change initiatives.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills and the ability to build this capability in your team.

Please note this role requires Australian or New Zealand Citizenship, or Australia Permanent Residency.

This role is best suited to a proactive individual who has experience working within a complex and deadline driven environment.
