About the role

Reporting to the Head of Customer Strategy & Insights, the Senior Product & Pricing Manager role will work to define our Product & Pricing strategy as it relates to delivering the overall Retail Markets strategy.  You will be responsible for shaping the priority initiatives and activities required to achieve our business goals and will work with key stakeholders throughout the year to provide exceptional commercial guidance and analytical support to deliver those priorities.

What you’ll do

  • Lead the strategy and discovery work on upcoming acquisition and retention initiatives and proactively identify strategic opportunities for product acquisition and retention
  • Regularly review and revise the product strategy based on any changes to metrics, competitors, regulations and/or the industry more broadly.
  • Ensure that the product strategy and associated narrative has a customer centric approach
  • Support with the creation and implementation of Alinta’s new energy product roadmap, identifying which opportunities should be prioritized in the short-term, and which should be parked for later.
  • Lead maintaining strong collaborative relationships with potential partners and the broader industry

Your experience

  • Degree level qualification in commerce, economics, accounting or other relevant numeric discipline
  • Extensive analytical, consulting and/or strategy experience, in a similar role
  • Excellent analytical, decision-making and project management skills
  • Proven ability to identify strategic needs, leading to sound business recommendations, and generate alignment with stakeholders
  • Understanding of accounting, finance, regulatory and legal principles
